Here are some examples of invalid referrals:

  • Self-referral: A member refers themselves using another email, phone number, or account.
  • Duplicate referral: The same person is submitted multiple times, including under slightly different names/emails.
  • Already a member: The referred person was already an active member before the referral was submitted.
  • Fake/nonexistent person: Invented names, fabricated contact details, or obviously bogus entries like “Test User.”
  • Member-created account: A member creates an account/profile pretending to be another person solely to earn referral credit.
  • No actual referral: The supposed referral independently joined before having any interaction with the referring member, and the member tries to claim them afterward.
  • Staff/test accounts: Employees, internal test accounts, bots, or system-generated accounts submitted as referrals.
  • Recycled former account: Someone closes/deactivates an account and creates a new one purely so another member can claim a “new member” referral.
  • Referral swapping/collusion: Two people manufacture reciprocal or coordinated signups solely to collect referral rewards rather than representing genuine referrals.
  • Unauthorized identity use: Submitting a real person’s information without their involvement or permission merely to generate a referral record.

How do I make a referral?

Step 1. Invite your friend to buy a Premium Membership (Annual Subscription – Paid in Full).

From time to time, we may feature various referral programs. Below are universal terms of service that apply to all programs, unless otherwise specified:

  • All purchases through programs are subject to these terms, the Club’s Terms & Conditions and Return/Warranty Policy, along with any specific terms and conditions, which may vary for each program.
  • Programs cannot be stacked or combined with any other offers, discounts, or promotions unless specified in the fine print.
  • All purchases under our programs are subject taxes and to availability and eligibility requirements. Referral Programs on Premium memberships are limited to Annual Subscriptions, either Paid in Full or Paid Monthly (not to be confused with monthly subscriptions or one month memberships).
  • Programs are available for a limited time, with the applicable dates specified in the fine print. Not all programs shown on this page will be available – refer to the fine print.
  • Previous purchases do not qualify for adjustments based on current promotions.
  • Certain programs have minimum purchase requirements, which are outlined in the program details. When calculating the minimum purchase amount, applicable taxes are not included. The minimum amount is determined before the program discounts have been applied, and gifts with purchase or free items do not count toward the required purchase total.
  • All programs are void where prohibited by law.
  • Account credits, promotional rewards, and coupons have no cash value, except where required by law.
