How do I sign up for a group lesson?

Thank you for your support and interest in our programs.

Due to a high volume of registrations, we’ve closed registration for most group lessons. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

If your enrollment is successful, you will receive an invoice for the term. If you do not receive an invoice, your enrollment has not been completed.

Please confirm that you’ve received an invoice before coming for your first session. If you are unsure, please call us at (236) 466-1362.

Private Lessons with Head Coach Lionel

Premium Members: $125/hr
Play Members: $145/hr

Semi-Private Lessons (prices shown are for 2 / 3 / 4 students)

BADMINTON LESSONS / PROGRAMS POLICIES

Equipment Requirements:

  • Students must bring explicitly labeled indoor non-marking shoes in accordance to the Club’s non-marking shoe policy, and a badminton racket.
  • If a student does not have their own equipment, the equipment can be purchased or rented from the Pro Shop.

Assessments:

  • Assessments are required for intermediate and above classes. Assessments will be conducted by a Club designated coach.

Minimum Student Requirement for Group Classes:

  • Group lessons will start only when a minimum of 4 students. If there are not enough students, the club will notify each registrant.

Payment Terms:

  • Students registering for group lessons are required to commit to the full term period, excluding select statutory holidays.
  • The pricing shown includes tax.
  • Total term cost may increase or decrease depending on the number of class days in the term.
  • Payment is due in full upon registration. A valid method of payment must be provided to Smash Champs to process payments.

Makeup Lesson Limits & Eligibility:

  • Under no circumstances will missed group lessons be returned as store credit or refund.
  • Students may reschedule up to a maximum of one makeup lessons per term within the same term as the missed lesson.
  • Any absence, including sickness, weather changes, personal events, private tournaments, or unforeseen circumstances, counts toward the one missed lessons.
  • Additional missed lessons are void and not eligible for makeup lessons, store credit, or refund.

Scheduling Makeup Lessons:

  • The makeup lesson must be rescheduled before or within 24 hours of the scheduled class time.
  • If it is not rescheduled within 24 hours, the makeup class is void and no additional makeup lesson, store credit, or refund will be provided.
  • Once a makeup lesson is scheduled, it cannot be rescheduled again.
  • Makeup lessons cannot be transferred to following terms.
  • Any lesson missed due to participation in a sanctioned tournament will be credited to the profile.

Group Lessons Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation anytime after the term’s start date is subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Students who re-register after the registration period will be charged a $20 late fee. New registrants are not charged a late fee and may sign up at any time.

Coach Assignment Limitations:

  • The Club reserves the right to re-assign coaches from the displayed sessions to meet program needs.

Private Lessons Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations must be made 48 hours ahead of time to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations within 48 hours will not be eligible for refunds, exchanges or store credit.

Semi-private Lesson Pricing:

  • Semi-private lessons rates vary based on membership type. Each student participating in a semi-private lesson will be charged the respective rate based on membership tier.
  • If a specific student fails to attend a semi-private lesson, and the lesson has taken place, the Club will not issue any refunds, store credit, or makeup sessions to that student.

From time to time, we may feature various promotions, coupons, free gifts with purchase, or other special offers. Below are universal terms of service that apply to all lesson promotions, unless otherwise specified:

  • All purchases under lesson promotions are subject to these terms, the Club’s Terms & Conditions, Lesson Policies and Return/Warranty Policy (where applicable), along with any specific terms and conditions, which may vary for each promotion.
  • Promotions cannot be stacked or combined with any other offers, discounts, or promotions. Lessons cannot be purchased with store credit.
  • All purchases under our promotions are subject taxes and to availability and eligibility requirements.
  • Promotions are available for a limited time, with the applicable dates specified in the fine print. Not all promos shown on this page will be available – refer to the fine print.
  • Previous purchases do not qualify for adjustments based on current promotions.
  • Certain promotions have minimum purchase requirements, which are outlined in the promotion details. When calculating the minimum purchase amount, applicable taxes are not included. The minimum amount is determined before the promotional discounts have been applied, and gifts with purchase or free items do not count toward the required purchase total.
  • All promotions are void where prohibited by law.
  • Account credits, promotional rewards, and coupons have no cash value, except where required by law.
  • Gifts with purchase and free items are not eligible for returns or refunds.
  • The Club reserves the right to change or end a promotion at any time without notice. The Club reserves the right to refuse service.

Students of Smash Champs badminton lesson programs are expected to abide by all lesson policies in addition to the Club’s terms & conditions, house rules and code of conduct.
